A Little BMW History
For a little history, some people are surprised to learn that BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) was originally created to produce aircraft parts. The company was founded in Germany back in 1916. However, BMW’s business shifted following the end of WWI. At this time, a treaty prevented Germany from producing more aircraft, which essentially forced BMW to take a different approach. Instead of manufacturing aircraft, they decided to build cars and vehicles. And this is how one of the world’s most notable luxury vehicle manufactures began.
In addition to their high-end luxury cars and vehicles, BMW is also known for their exceptional business standards and practices. In 2012, Forbes listed BMW as the most reputable company in the world.
